Dr. Vladyslav S. Bondarenko
I am a biologist interested in the mechanisms of embryo development and early pregnancy. In my research, I use stem cells, organoids, animal models, microscopy, bioengineering, biophysics, and quantitative analysis of biological data.
I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I studied for my B. Sci. and M. Sci. I received my Ph. D. in Biology from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and Heidelberg University in Germany.
I am currently a postdoc with Dr. M. Turco at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI) in Switzerland. Alumni of EMBL, Hubrecht Institute, Weizmann Institute of Science.
LGBTQ in STEM. A first-generation college student and a scientist.
